El Boquerón (San Salvador Volcano)

Discover the stunning volcano crater in the department of San Salvador, 15 km by car from the hotel (approx. 30 minutes). It’s a one-of-a-kind hiking experience where you can take in awe-inspiring views while giving you an incredible insight into the area's flora and fauna. El Boquerón rises majestically to over 1,800 meters above sea level, with winding trails that give off the scent of pine trees. The main viewpoint offers jaw-dropping views of the crater and the city, perfect for taking some snaps while sipping on a Salvadoran coffee, natural refreshments, and even sophisticated wines with a view of the volcano.

El Sunzal Beach & Sunzal Square (Surf Route)

There’s a paradise for all levels of surfers in the department of La Libertad, 42 km away (approx. 50 minutes by car). Renowned for its perfect waves and relaxed vibe, at El Sunzal you can take surfing lessons, as it is easy to get in and out of the water. What’s more, in the Plaza Sunzal area, you can savor culinary experiences in a variety of restaurants and cafés, or get your hands on stunning pieces in local art shops. San Andrés Archaeological Site

Located in the department of La Libertad, 33 km away (approx. 40 minutes by car from the hotel). Discover the past in one of El Salvador's most important Mayan ceremonial sites. Casa Blanca Archaeological Site (Chalchuapa)

The historic city of Chalchuapa, in the department of Santa Ana, is 81 km (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes by car) from the hotel. On this site, you can learn more about Mayan culture, indigo dyeing techniques, not to mention the history of El Salvador. Casa Blanca is renowned for its pre-Hispanic ceremonial center with mounds and structures that whisk you away to a mystical atmosphere in the heart of by nature.
